Not all Doshiers are Kosher

Autumn set up this blog, but I am going to write on it every now and then. I am Jared and I am Autumn's husband. I work at a hotel and so I am able to find time to myself when I am not helping guests. I am studying to be a teacher, and Autumn is finishing up her studies to become a developmental psychologist. With both of us working and studying, we never get to see one another, but we cherish the times that we have together. Just last night, one of us was writing a response paper and the other was watching a movie...I know, romantic. We are very satisfied however that we are getting to the end of Autumn's schooling and then things should get a little less crazy. That is about it for right now, and since Autumn set this blog up, I will possibly not participate too much, but I will attempt to pop in every now and then to give my two cents worth. Bye, Jared

The Moment

"by small and simple things are great things brought to pass."

This week has been full of love and surprises. Jared and I have been busy at school and work. I found out that I am able to graduate in the spring time with just a few extra credits to finish up in the summer term. I also found out that I have enough classes to qualify for a Certificate in Management of human Resources, which is really exciting to me. Jared is still busy completing his class coursework to transfer credits to a full time status at SOU.
I am overwhelmed by how much support and joy I have received from my father in heaven. Jared and I got married just over a year ago and have since been remarkably blessed in such a short amount of time. I look around at other couples that I know and I am reminded of just how lucky Jared and I are. I can't look at a sunset or make someone laugh without being reminded of how much I have to be grateful for. Life is beautiful and sometimes it is important to remember how much we take for granted. Tomorrow is not always a guarantee and today usually goes faster than we might hope.
